The shop announcement says the quiet part plainly: despite the war in her country, delivery is possible worldwide. The work has not stopped.
Sylianka and gerdan are netted beadwork: no fabric, no backing, just glass and thread holding each other in place. The pattern is drawn on a lattice before a single bead is strung — every bead is a coordinate. Which is why a nineteenth-century Boyko collar and a Van Gogh sky can be woven with the same movement of the hand.

A flat netted collar, worked in rows so the beads lock into a diamond lattice. Wide, light, and structural — it holds its shape with nothing behind it.
Гердан · Gerdan
A woven band, worn at the throat or as a long loop. Historically a regional signature: the pattern told you where the wearer came from.
Preciosa 10/0
Czech glass seed beads, roughly two millimetres across. Nearly everything in the studio is built from this one size, which is what gives the work its even grain.
